Just drove Perth to Albany and return in a Ford Everest Tremor 3.0l V6 Diesel.
Equipped with Base Roof Rack and towing a box trailer with dingy sitting on top and several mast sections on the roof - not a lot of weight but lot of windage.
A comfortable experience on a range of road conditions.
Fuel economy overall was 11.6 Litres/100kms.
The technology in the car makes driving a pleasure. Standout was the Radar Cruise Control that automatically adjusts speed every time the speed zone changed. For some reason it missed a couple of the signs.
All controls at finger tip and easily interpreted.
Suspension smooth and responsive in corners.
Steering response and feel is positive and not “twitchy” or overly reactive
Engine very responsive for hills and overtaking, and quiet.
I don’t give score out of ten but prefer to answer my question: Would I buy this car and be comfortable driving it?
Definitely the answer for the current model 2025/26 is Yes.
