Just drove Perth to Albany and return in a Ford Everest Tremor 3.0l V6 Diesel.

Equipped with Base Roof Rack and towing a box trailer with dingy sitting on top and several mast sections on the roof - not a lot of weight but lot of windage.

  • A comfortable experience on a range of road conditions.

  • Fuel economy overall was 11.6 Litres/100kms.

  • The technology in the car makes driving a pleasure. Standout was the Radar Cruise Control that automatically adjusts speed every time the speed zone changed. For some reason it missed a couple of the signs.

  • All controls at finger tip and easily interpreted.

  • Suspension smooth and responsive in corners.

  • Steering response and feel is positive and not “twitchy” or overly reactive

  • Engine very responsive for hills and overtaking, and quiet.

I don’t give score out of ten but prefer to answer my question: Would I buy this car and be comfortable driving it?

Definitely the answer for the current model 2025/26 is Yes.
